Sobre este artículo

New York: Farrar, Straus and Giroux, [1978]. First edition. Previous owner's bookplate with inked name affixed to front paste-down, a fine copy in a fine dust jacket with just a touch of shelf wear to the spine ends. (17420). Octavo, cloth. This children's fantasy, the third of the Meg Murry novels, preceded by A WRINKLE IN TIME and A WIND IN THE DOOR. "L'Engle seems to have arrived at a happy synthesis of science, metaphysics, universal politics, and individual responsibility. She is one of the handful of science fiction writers whose work consistently rings true." - Pederson (ed.), St. James Guide to Science Fiction Writers, pp. 569-570. Anatomy of Wonder (2004) II-662.

Sinopsis

A Swiftly Tilting Planet is a 1978 science fiction novel by Madeleine L'Engle, part of the Time Quartet. In A Swiftly Tilting Planet, Charles Wallace Murry, a very advanced and perceptive child in A Wrinkle in Time and A Wind in the Door, has grown into an adolescent. His intelligence and remarkable goodness carry him through an adventure in time to save the world from nuclear disaster threatened by Mad Dog Branzillo, the dictator of the fictional South American country of Vespugia.
