Boston: Lee and Shepard Publishers. Good/No Jacket. 1867. Hardcover. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall Cover has a little rubbing and wear to extremities. Spine faded and chipped. Hinges cracked, still tight. Contents have minor soiling, mostly nice and bright. Maroon cover with gilt spine titles, 324 pages. The author was "Late pastor of the Church of the New Dispensation, Chaplain to his excellency the President, and P. M. at Confederate X Roads, Kentucky." Chapters deal with elections, Andrew Johnson a warning to the democracy, a Kentucky tea party, a Presidential tour, and many other aspects of the society of the time. .
