The twenty-second edition of this work in the publisher's original cloth binding. Illustrated with sixty-nine maps, eighteen plans and eleven panoramas, many of which are folding. Collated, complete. This volume explores the beautiful regions of Switzerland and northern Italy, pointing out the best and most interesting places to visit, with guides for how to get there. Exploring northern Switzerland, Lake Geneva and the Italian Lakes. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally bright and smart, with minor shelf wear to the joints. Gilt remains bright. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean except for an ink inscription to the title page. 7cm closed tear to the front folding map. Small stain to the head of the gutter from page xxvi to page 11. Very Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
