Important early work on mechanics and hydrostatics with 10 folding plates to illustrate the text. 192 pp. 4to. 10 Plates. Full leather binding that has been rebacked in a very nice repair with gold embossed titling and line decoration. Wear and scuffing to boards. Darkening to endpapers from age of paper and leather, library bookplate and "withdrawn" sticker on front pastedown. Quite clean within.
