This appears to be the second edition of this work which was evidently a school text. Cover has much shelf wear and binding is partially split - about halfway down. Front cover is faded. Pages are in good condition: age toning but little foxing and none on the maps. The only tear is on the first fly-leaf page (repaired). Contains several maps of the world and the United States- most in color- and other illustrations throughout the book. Includes sections on Questions for Review, Pronunciation, and several appendices.
