Sobre este artículo
Cape Town: Stewart Printing Co. Ltd., 1944. First edition. Cloth. Good. 8.5" by 5.5". Not Stated. A smart first edition of this detailed guide to climbing Table Mountain in Cape Town, with plates and maps. First edition. Illustrated with twenty-eight pages of plates and two folding maps. Collated complete. With publisher's note that this work was published during the Second World War and, as such, at a time when portions of Table Mountain are contained in "No Man's Land." For this reason some climbs have been omitted. Includes chapters on the contour paths, the ascents, excursions, and paths on the front and back tables. In the original brown cloth binding. Externally, sound with rubbing resulting in minor fraying to the extremities. Marks to the boards and minor loss to the head and tail of the spine. Front hinge starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout. Good
