The beaches of Morocco and Algeria and the rugged mountains and barren wastes of Tunisia were the testing grounds for combat forces and the medical troops that supported them in the field and behind the lines. A young pilot and nurse found themselves in the middle of the strategically important Operation Torch. This is their story.
