Dustcover shows dead girl on floor with knife close by and eye-part of mask above with empty eye sockets. 222pp with 16 chapters and clean brown patterned endpapers all present. Old London phone number at top of verso of rear endpaper. Jacket is 99.9% complete with two tiny chips at top and tail of spine, and similar tiny chips at four corners of return flaps. Slight rubbing to spine and return flap edges, and small stain top right corner of front panel (2cm x 1cm). Boards are clean and interior very clean. Generally VG. . Very Good. Hardcover.. First Edition Thus. 1988.
