Sobre este artículo
London: G. G. Harrap & Co, 1913. First edition. Undated but published 1913. Hardback. Unpaginated. 275mm x 190mm approx. Full leather binding. Blind stamped design to front. Ornate gilt titles to spine. Top edge gilt. Decorated endpapers. Lavishly illustrated. 8 tipped-in four-colour plates. Numerous other colour illustrations, some full-page, ornamentation and decoration throughout. Beautifully designed and executed. No jacket. Illustrations and decorations by Willy Pogany Near fine condition. Very slight rubbing to lower edges of boards towards the corners. Slight cracking to upper reaches of front hinge. Text block very sound and everything is firmly in place. Small and faint ink marks to Part III title page, which appear to be a minor production fault rather than later marking. A couple of pages have some small and faint soil marks. Free of inscriptions. A lovely, bright copy of what is arguably one of Pogany's most creative works.
