London, Warne and Co. Ltd, 1993.. Deluxe limited edition 1993 published to commemorate Potter's first picture letter to Noel Moore in 1893. In gilt printed blue cloth clamshell box with hook closure, with facsimile letter in envelope, complete with gilt printed tissue sheet, limitation label mounted inside lid and blue silk ribbon to hold books and letter. Facsimiles of the 3 stages in the publication of this title: the picture letter Potter wrote to Noel Moore in 1893; her own privately printed volume of 1901 (in card wraps as the original was issued); and the original deluxe cloth edition published by Warne in 1902. Plus colour illustrated 8 page booklet with information about Potter and the contents of this special edition. All items Fine in near Fine box (touch of fading to top edge). Complete with thin white card sleeve in which box was originally sold printed with title and barcode. Hand numbered 554 of an edition limited to 750 copies.
