Tight and nice first edition of this entertaining, heavily-illustrated "scrapbook" of the romantic musical film version of "South Pacific" -- with a choice autograph twist: Affixed to a special heavy stock sheet tipped in before the first text page are bold signatures of three cast members, all on fine matching heavy stock 5" X 3" cards. Top to bottom: JOHN KERR (1931-2013, who plays Lt. Joseph Cable), who signs in black fineline and dates it 18 January 1974 at upper right; FLOYD M. SIMMONS (1923-2008, two-time bronze-medal winning Olympic decathlon athlete who plays Commander Bill Harbison), who signs in black fineline and dates it 28 June 1985 at upper right; and RAY WALSTON (1914-2001, who plays Luther Billis but is best known as television's "My Favorite Martian"), who signs in blue ballpoint and dates it 8 February 1990 at upper right. Laid in are two ideal bookmarks: Kerr and Walston's original transmittal envelopes. A sharp, most unusual copy.
