Full red cloth-look paper-covered boards with titling and "Everyman's Library" gilt-stamped on spine, dolphin-and-anchor device borrowed from Aldine press in gilt at tail of spine. In yellow dust jacket with 'Everyman's Library' surrounded by scrollwork on front panel. --- The book has been exposed to moisture, resulting in dampstains to covers, front endpapers and textblock lower edge (but not on the leaves themselves), else a tightly-bound, bright, sound copy. Price-clipped jacket with pronounced red bleed-off from book cover to area near tail of spine, a few small tears but otherwise an intact copy; wrapped in removable archival mylar protector.; 12mo - 7 to 7-1/2 in. tall; xx, 325, 4 (ads) pages .
