Sobre este artículo
Hardback. Fair. London, 1734, a new edition with the author's apology and explanatory notes by W Wotton and others; small 8vo, pp [iv], 292; full calf, lacks the front board and front end paper consequently somewhat dust marked, spine rubbed and lacking the labels, internally a good, tight, clean copy and very suitable for rebinding or repairing. First published in 1704 this was Swift's first, most notorious, perhaps most misunderstood, and considered by many his best, work. It's supposedly a satire on religion and society but is far more complex than the simplistic objections allow.
