Personalized copy of this richly illustrated document of the old parks of Los Angeles, the setting for many of his well-loved children's books. 14.75'' x 11.25''. Original gilt-stamped green cloth. Color plates throughout. Watercolor gift inscription: "To my dear friend Sara Brant / With gratitude for your continued interest in my books / Leo Politi / 1966". Slight soil to top edge.
