First British illustrated edition, published in the same year as the first American illustrated edition. Both contain 17 engraved plates after drawings by F. O. C. Darley. Short stories and essays written by Washington Irving under the pseudonym Geoffrey Crayon. The book is in very good condition: clean and tight, with some toning of pages; some rubbing of leather covers.. First British Illustrated Edition. Hardcover. Collectible-very Good. Illus. by F. O.
