The author, Franz Hartmann, was a high ranking member of theosophy, though he fell out with Madame Blavatsky, to whom this work is dedicated.Undated, dated from Jisc from a copy held at the British Library. In the original publisher's paper wraps. Externally, worn. Lacking most of the backstrip. Front wrap is held by one cord only. Wraps are a little age-toned with some spots and handling marks. Light edge wear to the wraps. A few small tide marks to the front wrap. Internally, binding is strained in places. Pages are bright and clean. Good Only

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
