It has a 1" x 1 3/4" spot and the remains of an old ring mark. The spine is faded. The rear board has three fain t damp stains. Former owner's name is inked on the front fly. The numb er 227 is inked at the bottom of the title page's inner gutter. The pa ges are lightly toned but are otherwise unmarked and tightly bound. Fr ontispiece by A.W. Sperry. Decent copy lacking the jacket. .
