Franeker: Idzardus Alberti, 1651. Octavo. Study of the Papal Chancellery bound in contemporary pigskin with ink lettering to the spine. Staining to endpapers, tiny oval label to first free endpaper followed by the engraved title page and the letterpress version in red and black. First few leaves with small tear up 1cm of gutter, not affecting text. Traces of insect damage to final pastedown. Overall a sound copy, about very good.
