Sobre este artículo

"TED WILLIAMS - A Biography of The Kid" by Arthur Sampson with its original dust jacket. 1950 1st edition; A.S. Barnes and Company; New York. The book features 16 pages of black & white photographs.

From the dust jacket: "Twice winner of the Most Valuable Player award, generally acknowledged to be one of the great players of all time, Ted Williams is also one of the most controversial players in baseball history. It's a gripping human-interest story of intriguing character which uncovers countless interesting facts, never-before-revealed about baseball's most puzzling figure and offers an in=lustration of what can be accomplished by one who possesses enthusiasm, energy, industry and dogged persistence."

Condition:
Clean covers and spine. Sharp cover corners. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Nice interior - the text pages are clean with only some small foxing spots at the outer edge of pages 39-43. The front blank end paper has a light stain at the bottom-right corner. Overall the book is in Very Good condition. The dust jacket has pieces missing at the top and bottom edges of the spine; small tears along the perimeter, and at the flap creases; un-clipped with the original price intact on the front flap...overall the jacket is in Good condition. (The dust jacket comes with a clear protective sleeve - not shown.)
