Tennessee Waltz is the twelfth stand-alone romance by American author, Jackie Merritt. It’s been many years since Clover Dove has seen Will Lang, so when she visits his remote house looking for her father, entertainer Billy Dove, she doesn’t recognise this gorgeous hunk of man. But here he is, living a simple life as a woodworker, a steady, level-headed man, the exact opposite of her parents. Is he what she needs? The Clover Dove that Will remembers was a cheeky girl in pigtails: this beauty has his heart (and other parts) throbbing! But Will agrees to help Billy out, and soon Clover is convinced he is all wrong for her. The characters in this charming romance are immediately appealing; the dialogue is credible and the plot works. There are laughs and also a few lump-in-the-throat moments. Entertaining and enjoyable.
