Full title continues from that given above: "With Chapters on the Railways and the Ocean Routes to Mexico with 3 Maps and 27 Plans." Abrasions at top and bottom of spine at and spine edges; light foxing to six pp at front of book. Owner's name in ink on front free end paper. Of particular interest to the reader are the discussions of Public Security, Beggars, and Thieves contained at the front of the book (lxv-lxix) and a lengthy discussion of bull-fights. Of beggars, the author writes: "The average Mex. beggar is a chrysalis usually ready to to develop into a full-fledged thief" while "Thieves sometimes steel wire cable by the mile." Contents in good clean condition with issues to spine noted. .
