Publisher's orange boards with black lettering to the front board and spine. INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR IN THE YEAR OF PUBLICATION. A near VG copy (with a crease to the front board) and a weak front hinge. Inscribed by the Author to the front free end-paper: "June 8th 1948/ To/ F. Smith/ with all my/ best wishes/ Alfred Tack". In the rare near VG D/W priced 8/6 net to the inside flap (as called for). The D/W is creased, worn and chipped to the spine tips. Photographs/scans available upon request.
