Inside has mild foxing to the preliminary pages else clean and tight with solid sewing. Miller, a stonemason and amateur geologist, opposed the evolutionary theories of Robert Chambers and believed the fossil records confirmed the biblical stories. He committed suicide be fore the publication of this book. .
