Hardcover with dust jacket, published by Universe. Originally published in 1967, this is the 2006 reprint edition, a second printing of this edition. From the series of 'This is.." books of Geography facts for children. Wonderful vintage illustrations in Sasek's distinctive style throughout the book. 60 pages, 12-5/8" X 9". Sturdy illustrated cover boards. Cover boards are flat, the corners are not bumped or creased, no edge wear. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages. Binding is tight and square. All text pages are intact and tightly bound. Not a library discard, not a remainder copy. The dust jacket is intact and is not price clipped, very minor wear at the edges of the dust jacket. Jacket has been protected with a clear, removable cover. Attached photos are of the copy we have in our inventory.
Sinopsis
M. Sasek was born in 1916 in Prague, Czechoslovakia. Best remembered for his classic stories on the great cities of the world, he died in 1980.
