As issued by the publisher, without a dust jacket. Book is in Fine condition. After a brief time in the Civil War (Co. B, 147th Illinois Infantry) , He went to Texas and in 1874 joined the Texas Rangers in Blanco County under C. R. Perry. Although he saw action against Indian raiders, Reynolds most famous exploits were in action against white outlaws.
