Contains black and white illustrations and plates. Rough-cut pages are moderately tanned with noticeable foxing throughout. Cracks to hinges, exposing netting. Slight crinkling to paper at gutters, however binding remains firm. Illustrations and plates are moderately tanned with some foxing. Pencil inscription to rear pastedown. Thumb-marking present throughout. Boards have heavy edge wear with corner bumping. Large splits to spine causing it to be loose. Gilt lettering is darkened. Noticeable scuffing to boards with small area of loss to edges. Black marks and water staining overall.Book has a slight forward lean.
