Signed by the author to the title page, with an inscription 'For Stephen and Gloria', dedicated to fellow author Stephen Vizinczey. Written by British novelist, historian and reporter, Terry Coleman, who is best known for his best-selling novel 'Southern Cross'. 'Thanksgiving' is the story of a woman named Wolsey Lowell, who crossed to America on the Mayflower, living a life of excitement and danger with many loves and losses in a new and unknown country. From the library of Hungarian-Canadian author Stephen Vizinczey, best known for his 'In Praise of Older Women', and 'An Innocent Millionaire'. His writing was praised by the likes of Graham Greene and Anthony Burgess, describing his fiction as social epics which breathe hope in a corrupt world. In the publisher's original quarter cloth binding with paper covered boards. With the original, unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent, with light fading to the spine and a little bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Ink inscription to the recto of the front endpaper. Dust wrapper is very smart, with light edge wear and very light marking. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean. Near Fine
