De Foe (Dramatic Critic of the New York World) 8vo size maroon jacquard cloth bound hardcover with bright gilt titles on the cover; 246 deckle edged toned pages; 20+ illustrations. The jacquard print is a design of the theatre masks. Frontispiece has a reproduction of the author's signature. Sunned spine with faded gilt titles, bumped corners and head and heel of spine; frontispiece of author is detached and laid in; lovely bookplate on fep. Back hinge is cracked, front hinge is cracked an inch from bottom. Illustrations contents page has some light wrinkles (a publishing defect.) . Cloth. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
