Sobre este artículo
Augsburg: Matthäus Seutter, 1740 Engraving, 49 x 57.5 cm, contemporary coloring (slightly browned at the centerfold). The map depicts Hungary, the Balkans, Greece, and the Eastern Mediterranean, including Sicily and Malta, highlighting various theaters of war with Turkey. Matthäus Seutter (1678-1757) was one of the most significant and prolific German map publishers of the 18th century. The map was issued after 1732 when Seutter was honored by the German Emperor Charles VI with the title of "Imperial Geographer."
