Very Good with small ding to front wrap, a little rubbed (wraps, like the jacket, are prone to rubbing), a little staining to fore edge. Contents free of markings. Seems to be more rare than the hardcover edition. Though we've handled many hardcover firsts over the years, this is the first we've seen of a paperback first. Rawls' magnum opus, widely regarded as one of the greatest works of 20th century political philosophy.
Sinopsis
A Theory of Justice is a widely-read book of political philosophy and ethics by John Rawls. It was originally published in 1971 and revised in both 1975 (for the translated editions) and 1999. In A Theory of Justice, Rawls attempts to solve the problem of distributive justice by utilising a variant of the familiar device of the social contract.
