Sobre este artículo
1887 ARCHERY Theory & Practice England ROBIN HOOD Techniques Weapons Bow & Arrow
Horace A Ford was a 19th-century, twelve-time champion of the Grand National Archery Meeting in the United Kingdom. He held the highest recorded mark for over 70 years. Ford has been described as "Great Britain's Greatest Archer" and even American Maurice Thompson stated, "...no better Archer ever lived."
This late 19th-century edition of Ford's 'Theory and Practice of Archery' glances at the history of Archery accounting for ancient England, Robin Hood, the medieval times and all the way to the foundation of the National Archery Society in the late 1800s. This work also focuses on Ford's unique scientific style including bow and arrow type, feathering, stances, scoring and many other factors. This work is illustrated with diagrams.
