There is very slight separation to the top and tail of the spine. There are two mild tears to the rear panel, which could be repaired internally with ease. It has been price clipped. The boards are free from chips and marks, but there is a slight separation between the front panel and the internal paper. The text blocks are bright, white and free from foxing. This copy is free from previous owners ink and is, overall, in near fine condition. Featuring Belgian detective Hercule Poirot and the recurring character Ariadne Oliver. The novel is notable for being the first in many years in which Poirot is present from beginning to end. It is uncommon in that the investigation includes discovering the first crime, which happens comparatively late in the novel.
