Sobre este artículo
Boston/Toranto: The Gorham Press, 1914. O'Neill is considered among the great "realistic" modernists such as Chekhov and Strindberg. This is a Very Good copy of the author's first printed book, an anthology containing five one-act plays with a small run of 1000 copies. There was no subsequent edition. The plays are "Thirst," "The Web," "Warnings," "Fog," and "Recklessness." Gray paper-covered boards with a tan cloth spine. The titling is red on paper labels on spine and front cover. Clean text; 168 pages. Rubbing to the corners and the head and foot of the spine. Labels are tanned, but remain perfectly readable. Lacking the dustjacket; in an archival plastic protetor.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
