First Printing; B&W Photographs; 192 pages; Before the Second World War, David Ensor was in the legal profession working in the Law Courts, and when war broke out he joined the Army's Judge Advocate General's Department. After a long period of ill health whilst serving in India he returned home and got married but continuing ill health meant he was advised to spend more time out-of-doors. So giving up the legal profession he and his wife escaped to the countryside to learn how to become farmers. .
