Hardcover published by The Lakeside Press, 2014. Part of the long running series of annual volumes printed by R.R. Donnelley made to showcase the art and craft of book publishing. This title is a collection of the work of WWI correspondent Floyd Gibbons. With an introductory essay by Michael Neiberg, Professor of History at the United States Army War College. Floyd Gibbons was given France's greatest honor, the Croix de Guerre with Palm, for his valor on the field of battle while trying to save an American Marine. This copy is not a library discard, not a remainder. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages. The green cloth covered boards are clean and the corners are not bumped or creased. 346 pages with Index, 4-3/8" X 6-7/8". A small volume that fits the standard format of The Lakeside Press. Recently, the USPS has added tracking to Media Mail , which has been a great addition to this service.If you do choose to have your order shipped "Expedited", my shipping cost may seem higher than expected. Some of our books are large format hardcovers that can cost quite a bit when shipped expedited. So I would like to make sure that I can cover the cost upfront. However, if the actual cost of expedited shipping is less than the charge, I will refund the difference!
