Fine in a modestly toned, very good or better dust jacket with a few nicks and short tears. "Complimentary Copy" rubberstamp beneath second edition statement on copyright page. With French and Spanish translations. Rand was one of the first American artists to practice the Swiss Style of graphic design, and was known for his corporate logos for IBM, UPS, Enron, Morningstar, Inc., Westinghouse, ABC, and NeXT. He taught graphic design at Yale University, and was inducted into the New York Art Directors Club Hall of Fame in 1972. After collaborating with Steve Jobs on the NeXT computer corporate identity, Jobs referred to him as, "the greatest living graphic designer.
