New York: Targ Editions, 1981 Limited first edition, first printing. One of 250 copies signed by Asimov on the limitation page, this being number 11. Publisher's Belgian linen over flexible boards, with blue titles label to front board, blue decorated endpapers, and J. Barcham Greene's handmade paper; in its original onion skin dust jacket. About fine book, with just few light spots of staining to boards; very good dust jacket, with light edgewear, a small chip to foot of spine, a small hole to bottom left of front panel, slightly nicked corners, and some light toning. Overall, a very handsome signed copy. This collection includes three science fiction stories previously published in magazines by Asimov: "The Last Answer," "True Love," and "Fair Exchange?" In these tales, a dead man meets a god-like entity called the Voice, a man uses an advanced computer program to find a romantic partner, and a Gilbert and Sullivan aficionado travels back in time to recover the score for the duo's first comic opera, Thespis. Asimov (1920 - 1992) was a prolific and celebrated author of science fiction, whose best-loved works are the Foundation and Robot series.. Signed by Author. First Edition. Hard Cover.
