Boston: Little, Brown, 1918. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. Reprint. Illustrated by Sears Gallagher. Small octavo. 58pp. Green cloth with floral design. Endpapers slightly foxed, near fine in an about very good dust jacket with several chips and tears, the top portion of the crown detached (but present), and a large chip on the rear panel with a two and a half inch tear on the front flap fold. A story of a man and his experiences in WWI. Filmed in 1918 as *The Unbeliever* starring Marguerite Courtot, Raymond McKee, and Erich von Stroheim, and directed by Alan Crosland. Shipman is well known for her story, "The Perfect Tribute" about Abraham Lincoln and the Gettysburg Address.
