The recipient John Baxter was also a science fiction novelist, alongside publishing many non-fiction works on science fiction in film, in a writing career spanning over half a century. Loosely inserted is a press cutting from a winter 1980 issue, reviewing this book. Octavo. Original green boards, spine lettered in gilt. With dust jacket. Corners a trifle bumped, the binding otherwise sharp, internally crisp. A fine copy in near-fine jacket, price-clipped, unfaded.
