Sobre este artículo
London: Sampson Low, Marston, Searle and Rivington, 1890. Hardcover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Rare copy of the 1890 new and cheaper edition. Attractive pictorial boards with gilt rowing boat and black Nile scene. Gilt lettering to spine. Red cloth boards. Spine has faded and is bumped and split at the top. Front hinge is beginning to crack, otherwise good. Pages are age-tanned but clean. Front tissue guard is foxed as is title page. Numerous black and white engravings. A fascinating account on Stanley's travels in Africa. 1890
