Sobre este artículo
London: Smith, Elder & Co., 1907. The "Magic Door" is Doyle's relation to books and authors he has read. This is a Very Good (Plus) copy of the First Edition. Red cloth binding with titling in gilt on the spine and front cover, which features a gilt representation of a reader surrounded by books. Clean text; 272 pages, Index, and a six-page publisher catalog in the rear. Frontis illustration, and twelve others within. There are two small and interesting bookseller labels, one from Tokyo, on the front paste-down. Hardly any edgewear; spine slightly faded, although the gilt remains bright. There is some spotting to the page-ends. In an archival plastic protector.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good (Plus)/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
