Small 8vo., pictorial blue-green cloth, stamped in black & gilt; 237 pages with large, fold-out map in rear. First Edition. A collection of letters written by the author to his father on a journey from Scandinavia to Moscow around 1902. Signed presentation from Edwards beneath his portrait frontispiece: "Dr. Carl G. Davey, with compliments of the author, William Seymour Edwards. Feby. 17th, 1911." Edwards was a West Virginian Progressive candidate for the U.S. Senate in 1913 and was supposedly a relative of Teddy Roosevelt. Very Good (little wear & small bit of bubbling to cloth on rear cover, else quite bright, clean & tight). $250.00.
