Hardcover. 2 volumes, World War II unit histories, we thought it would be appropriate to offer these volumes as a set, each volume was owned by the sister of Nicholas Skirchak Pfc who was a member of the 83rd Infantry Division, 331st Infantry Regiment and was killed in action on December 12, 1944 in Hurtgen Forest, Germany, his sister has made a few ink notes referring to him and his name is present in the "In Memoriam" section of "We Saw it Through," he also appears in one of the photos but his back is turned toward the camera, several flaws are present: the spines of both books have been taped with masking tape and paper tape, edge-wear, surface-wear, pages 71-74 of "Thunderbolt are torn resulting in the loss of a few words of text, a loose folding map is laid-in to the same volume, we collated this set and all of the maps and pages are present .
