Novel for older children illustrated by Peggy Fortnum (best known for illustrating Paddington). 256pp. Blue boards with gilt titles to spine has a tiny area of sunning to very top edge of spine. Matt illustrated dust jacket has a number of closed tears which have been mended on the reverse by archival tape (which does not yellow), is very slightly sunned to spine and has a little dustiness to edges. Very good copy in good dust jacket . Hardback. First Edition. 1970.
