This beautifully illustrated book explores about thirty of post and beam homes in various locations; a number of the homes are accompanied by hand-drawn illustrations depicting the post and beam construction that provides the framework for the buildings. Original gray cloth publisher's spine with brown spine lettering over blue paper covered boards. This is a nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings, no previous owner names and no bookplates. The dust jacket is in similarly nice condition with no chips, tears, or markings (there is a trace of old bookshop sticker remaining on the lower corner of the front wrapper which could be removed)> ; Color Photos & b&w illustrations; 8vo, 8"- 9" tall; 232 pages .
