Sobre este artículo

Chicago: Rand McNally (1st Edition, #8562, 49 cents, 1972). Like new hardcover, unpaginated.

ABOUT THE BOOK: A Start-Right Elf Book: Books in this series are factual, fanciful, humorous, questioning and adventurous. Time is a mystery to a child. Five minutes of time is an eternity. TIME FOR EVERYTHING is a delightful story in rhyme. How long does it take to buckle a shoe? How long does it take to shop for groceries? After reading the story to your child, plan to help him discover how long it takes to do various tasks. Through listening to stories relevant to his experiences he begins to understand his world.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Norah Smaridge was born on March 30, 1903 in England. She graduated with honors from the University of London in 1924 and continued to take classes at Columbia University and Hunter College in New York. From 1925-1935 she taught at New York's Marymount High School and Junior College. In 1937 she began working for the St. Anthony Press Guild in New Jersey as an advertising writer. Although she has written many children's books, she is also noted forher adult novels, poems, book notes, and translations. She also worked for the Catholic Weekly as the monthly columnist of "Book Nook." She died in 1994 in Seminole, Florida.

ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR: Sharon Kane grew up in Indiana. Her first published drawing was at age nine, when she sent a pen-and-ink drawing to Highlights. A cartoon she started in her high school paper, Buttons An' Beaux, became nationally syndicated and financed her college education at the University of Wisconsin. After graduation she began a career illustrating children's books for Little Golden Books, Rand McNally, and the Methodist Publishing House. Her best-known book for Little Golden Books is Little Mommy.
