A very good plus, clean, tight copy in very good jacket. No inscriptions, but a neat printed former owner's bookplate is pasted to the front to a front prelim - no loss of image. The text supported by numerous photographic reproductions in b/w - many of them tipped in - as they should be. Some spotting to the upper fore-edge. The jacket has not been price-clipped - it has a vertical crease leading down the length of the front flap. The jacket has a stain to the verso - head in several places with tide-marks - they never extend more than 1cm from the edge and the moisture that caused them has in no way affected the book. There is also a little rubbing to the jacket at the head of the spine. A very good plus, clean, tight copy in very good jacket.
