Some bumping to spine ends and corners of blue cloth-covered boards, otherwise a good tight copy of this hard-cover book. The author's life-story from his impoverished childhood as an orphaned Cuban immigrant in New York in the 1880s, his medical training in the late nineteenth century, and his many years of practise in Alaska. 243pp..
