Sobre este artículo
Thomas Wolfe Collection of Three Items. Please read all of the following carefully before purchase or asking questions:
First Edition of Of Time and the River with rare original dust jacket, almost completely intact
First Edition of From Death to Morning with facsimile dust jacket
Facsimile first edition copy of Look Homeward, Angel.
Of Time and the River A Legend of Man's Hunger in His Youth by Thomas Wolfe (author of Look Homeward, Angel) Hardcover First Edition - First Printing Charles Scribner's Sons 1935. Near Fine in Near Fine++ (almost Fine-) Dust Jacket. Price-clipped with $3.50 stamped on the front flap cover price, probably enacted by the publisher. Includes inscriptions on front flyleaf and half-title page. Book itself is clean, boards clean, pages nice, slight shelf-wear and aging, to be expected, tiny bump to the right-hand side edge. Dust Jacket is near complete (save for the price-clip), NO Major tears and NO major chips, and almost NO rubbing to the edges and slight nicking to corners, else just about as nice as you could ask for without paying much more!
Bonus Two Books:
From Death to Morning (short story collection) by Thomas Wolfe Hardcover First Edition - First Printing
Charles Scribner's Sons 1935. The presence of the "A" on the copyright
page indicates a first printing. Very Good+/Near Fine-. A relatively
clean and presentable copy with most pages very clean. Main shortcoming
is fading to the lettering on the spine and a little bit on the front
cover. Clothed in a facsimile dust jacket.
Look Homeward, Angel by Thomas Wolfe Hardcover First Edition Facsimile
originally published by Scribner's in 1929. Published by the First
Edition Library probably circa 1990. Fine in Fine Dust Jacket in
slipcase. (missing insert)
NOTE: All modern books with dust jackets come with dust jacket covers.
ALSO: The picture is the actual item for sale. (The picture is NOT a stock photo.)
