Paris: The Pegasus Press, 1935. 168pp, with 83 plates and 28 text illus. Tino Di Camaino was a Sienese sculptor of the fourteenth century. The book is a nice copy with rubbing to the gilt lettering on the front board and spine otherwise tight and clean. A few light marks to the cloth. Number 359 of a limited edition of 450. Composed in Baskerville Type cut by the Monotype Company. The book was designed by Hans Mardersteig and printed under his supervision by R&R Clark, Edinburgh on paper supplied by Tullis, Hunter & Co.Ltd, Edinburgh. The blocks for the illus. were made by Robert Seyss, Vienna and binding by Messrs. Nevett, London. Text transalated by Miss Josephine Walther from the German. 1st edition. Brown cloth. V.g./No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Limited edition.
